Basic Octagon Vector Automata

This is a simple pattern grown from a central point using a pattern definition containing a Cycle of three one-part symmetrical Modules... a long V, a Staple, and another long V. The pattern was grown for eight Cycles and exhibits the classic characteristics of a highly uniform Stokes Pattern. In the diagonal wedges, a characteristic shape is propagated eight times from the center and appears eight times along the outer edge. In the vertical and horizontal directions, a signature shapes appears along the edges four times. The powers of two sequence (1, 2, 4, 8...) rules this pattern.
