Puzzle 272 - Sunny Side Up
Puzzle #272 - Some pretty interesting Creative pieces here!
Puzzle #272 - The ten pointed Sun piece
Which side is right side up?
My Creative Style cutting is priced considerably more than my standard Swirl Curl and Long Round styles (see Cutting Styles for a discussion of my cutting styles). Thus, I rarely receive orders for puzzles cut in my Creative style and I enjoy a chance to cut this way when I can! In this puzzle, there is a whole lot of black, which really provided a great opportunity to "dance out" some neat Creative pieces, so I took advantage of the opportunity! I think I did some very nice Flow Cutting in the bottom section and this type of cutting combined with the extremely smooth spirals presents a beautiful effect.

8:47 pm - Another long day, completing a long week. Lot of email in the morning. I then completed two more puzzles.
#272 Sunny Side Up was supposed to be a 96 piece Creative cut puzzle (first Creative cut order this year!), 8" x 12", ended up with over 100 pieces, will have count later. The puzzle is a picture of a plaza taken through a dark archway. The puzzle's title is a play on the sole figural piece in the puzzle. Couple eggs showed up. I thought the Enigmatic Observer might at least drop by for a peek, but nothin'. I plan to have a dedicated page for the puzzle, as I'm a bit short of Creative puzzle pictures.
#273, Emily is a 8 1/2" x 6" 36 piece Swirl Curl puzzle, picture of a cute baby girl, with twirl star, dolphin and heart, word piece "Emily" and a printed name.
