Puzzle #527 - Royal Dragon
My previous Royal Dragon puzzles were made from 8" x 10" K. Chin lithographs. The prints had dark vertical strips to the left and right of the dragon. My supply of prints ran out and I found out that no more were available. I then realized I still had one print remaining, mounted on a board, but never made into a problem due to some problems with the mount. I obtained permission from K. Chin's sons to make further Royal Dragon puzzles from a digital scan of the remaining print. I made a high resolution scan and decided remove the dark strips on either side of the dragon, and to enlarge the remaining area. In my opinion the print looks better than ever! A picture of an older puzzle may be see at Puzzle 119.

8:38 pm - I'm back! Actually I didn't go anywhere.... and in fact I could use a longer break as comprehensive record keeping catch-up and taxes took a good part of the week. During my break, I received one new confirmed order, another Marriage Proposal puzzle, bringing the backlog to four. Today, I resumed puzzle work, and spend just about all day at the shop and cut Royal Dragon, returning the backlog to three.
