Puzzle #96 - Patio, Mykonos, Greece, '97
©2001 Michael Seewald
I purchased this photographic print from internationally recognized photographer, Michael Seewald
Michael writes: I owed $20 for my sparse room at the "youth hostel" - the Visa was maxed, and the ATM's weren't working! I continued working, wondering how I'd do it this time!? "Are you a commercial photographer?" an older man asked as I worked a scene later that day. "Come to the Hotel Belvadere after 11 p.m." Later that night, I finally found it - a beautiful new five star hotel! "That's too much," he'd said the next day after thinking over my offer. "Let's trade then, room and board for 10 days," I blurted out! "Ok," he agreed. Wow, a $200 a night luxury suite, breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Captured this new "best seller" the day before leaving the island.
Photograph sponsored by Seth Fink of Dallas, Texas.
The image in this puzzle is pretty cool, the walkway looks it would take one right out to walk on the water! The lighting through the opening between the walls is deceptive, because the play of light on the left wall makes the wall look as if it is the floor.... when assembling the puzzle! The cat was placed in the puzzle by the request of the customer. Fortunately I was forgiven for cutting a sitting cat instead of a walking cat as requested!
